Raffles Hotel Staycation
Sponsored Review
In the last 12 months, we have been to a few Staycations! We managed to check in at the W Hotel in Sentosa, Pan Pacific Hotel and the Park Royal Hotel. However, the Raffle Hotel Experience is by far the nearest thing to heaven for the whole family!
Patronised by Nobility, the Raffles Hotel has played a significant role in colonial Singapore. After all, this is the Hotel that the Queen, Prince William, and Michael Jackson stayed in, when they touched down on the island of Singapore. With such a roll of distinguished guests, we just could not wait to check into the hotel! And boy…were we in for a treat!
Check out the Old English Splendour as we stepped into the lobby of the Hotel. With the Hotel Fully Restored to its Colonial Splendour, we felt like Royalty as we entered the Lobby.
The Kids could not wait to check into their Hotel Room. We have nothing but Good news to report about their suites. With High Colonial Ceilings large spacious rooms, the suites has more than enough room for the whole tribe.
Our suite came with 2 queen sized beds, and more that enough room to put in an extra single bed for our oldest girl. The kids just could not wait to jump onto the beds as they entered the room!
We simply adored the Old English Trimmings. Even the Light switches were kept in Mint Condition, as they were still in their Old Colonial Brackets.
And to transport you back to the Colonial Era, the Raffles has kept to certain traditions. Each room comes with it’s very own 24hour Butler! Press on the Buzzer, and the Butler will be more than willing to assist Hotel Guests.
Normally, Daddy has to make his own tea. But at the Raffles, Tea and Coffee is not just complimentary, but it is also brought to you by your butler! Aww…this is the life!
Walking around the Hotel, you will find yourself immersed in a Colonial Environment, where you will simply want to “slow” down as well. You can sit by your corridor to enjoy your morning cuppa, or proceed to the Raffles Shopping Arcade, to visit high end shops like Louis Vuitton.
To keep the kids entertained, the Raffles has got a special program for all children. Introducing the Raffles Adventure Passport. The passport contains a series of fun activities that encourages them to complete and collect stamps, whilst learning more about the history of the Hotel. Take a picture of the iconic doorman or answer simple questions about Tigers at the Hotel! Collect the Stamps and kids can get complimentary ice-cream, learn to make their own pizzas or mocktails Free of Charge!
And of course, to keep the whole family entertained, there is the traditional Swimming Pool and Spa for to keep the whole family relaxed and Pampered!
The great thing about the Old Colonial Rooms is that everything comes “Up-sized!” The Kids love the fact that all 3 of them could climb into the bathtub and still have ample room to move around! I think the picture clearly captures the moment, as they had the time of their lives!
