Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore Review
Service always begins with a Smile at the Ritz! The Ritz-Carlton Millenia has made it’s name in the service Industry by providing extraordinary service, and just recently, our family got to experience it for ourselves.
Situated in the upmarket Marina District, the Ritz-Carlton Millenia is ideally located to enjoy the picturesque Marina Bay. Offering a skyline that rivals and beats many cosmopolitan cities, the Ritz will bring an offering of “Class” to your stay in Singapore.
With each Hotel room offering 550 to 650 sq feet of space for Hotel guests, there was plenty of room for the kids to roam around. Together with the unobstructed views of the Singapore Skyline, we felt like we were in 7th heaven.
Here is the picture of the signature Ritz-Carlton view from our bathtub. Yes! Can you imagine just lying here with a relaxing bubble bath and soaking in the view. It is no wonder, that this Hotel is always fully booked out during the F1 Marina Night race, and when there is a fireworks display in the Marina Bay. An Absolutely Stunning View!
Parents will be glad to know that the Ritz looks after the kids as well. My girls loved the Activity books which kept them busy and the Free Ice Creams which they were entitled to at the cafe. Together with the children’s toiletries, Mini bathrobes and their favourite Rubber Ducky for the bath tub as well.
The Ritz displayed its eye for service when we checked into the Hotel during our birthday weekend. Although we did not inform the front desk that we were celebrating our birthdays, the hotel was attentive to such intimate details. This was the slice of cake waiting for my wife upon check-in.
Then, they realized that Nicole and my birthday was the very next day. They immediately delivered this wonderful cake for the whole family to enjoy. As you can see, Nicole was totally delighted with service!
If you are staying at the Ritz, you will be glad to know that the hotel is also a “Foodies Paradise”. It is known for its buffets and Sunday Brunches.
One of best part of the buffet is the very exquisite spread that is offered. You see, it is not a huge spread of food from cuisines all over the world. Rather, you get the best of each primary cuisine and in that sense, you can confidently try everything and be totally satisfied. Expect local Favourites like Chilli Crabs, scallops, oysters, Japanese Sushi and Sashimi…need i say more…
And this buffet was a tad bit more special. It was a Kids Night Out dinner! Available every Sunday through September 14, 2014, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., you can spend precious family time bonding over a meal at Greenhouse. One child (six to 12 years of age) will dine complimentary with every paying adult for Sunday Buffet Dinner.
The kids had a blast walking through the buffet and picking what they want to eat. They really felt quite grand choosing food that we adults had no access to!
True to the Ritz style, service was impeccable. So we have a wonderful dinner in a most relaxed atmosphere. And then we were rewarded with a very pleasant surprise! Curry Lobsters!
This dish is not available at the buffet table, but it’s a Chef’s Special! Woah!! Apparently, the chef will cook his special daily, but in limited quantity. It’s a random surprise which table would be offered the dish, and trust me, you would be crossing your fingers it’s your table!
The lobsters were phenomenal! They were so fresh and so sweet! And the sauce was incredibly appetising! We loved it! If you are celebrating a special occasion at the Greenhouse, do mention it to the staff, and you may just get something special at your table!
We totally enjoyed our stay at the Ritz, and Kudos to the staff for making our family staycation so memorable.
