All we had to do was to pack what we want to eat or drink. They have a stove and microwave (if you wanna cook), a super large cooler box packed with ice & refrigerator (to keep the drinks or any food cool) and disposable utensils/plates/cups are provided!

There are even life jackets for the kids, so that parents need not be afraid of any accidents! 🙂

This Food & Drink component is a huge draw cos going out to sea always makes one thirsty and very hungry! It was a good idea we brought along some breakfast noodles, Nasi Lemak, fruits and Hard Boiled Eggs (those eggs were really nice!) . The catamaran has got ample space for all 18 of us to lounge around, eat our breakfast and to enjoy the scenery at the same time.

When we sailed out, it was a beautiful sight looking at the vast blue sea (ok maybe the green sea.. this is Singapore after all…) and the little islands scattered around. We took plenty of pictures and we had lots of selfie moments. (I was worried Nicole would get sea sick, but the waters were so calm…so no worries!)  

There was also time for lots of family shots! Daddy had time to create a moment with his boy on the wheel. Captain Wong was most obliging as he taught us how to steer the boat! Definitely a fun moment for us “greenies”.

Then we arrived at Lazarus Island. And that’s when the fun begun! The guys took turns to jump off the catamaran. While the rest of us paddled or kayak to the island. (the paddles and kayaks are all part of the package!)  I think I will let the smiles and the pictures speak for themselves.  

On the island, it was time to chill and relax. It was a beautiful island. Teeny and unspoilt sand meant very nice beaches. We hung out at the only pavilion on the island (the sun was shining hard on us!) Other guests hung out with a picnic mat and loaded with lots of sandwiches and other goodies. In case you don’t know, Lazarus island can also  be accessed by St. John’s island, where one can board a ferry to visit the island.

As we relaxed and basically improved on our paddling skills, we had great fun just winding down and enjoying each other’s company. There is just something about the sea! It is really calming and simply great for the soul.

Each weekend charter lasts for a total of 4 hours, and before long, it was time for us to head back to Singapore. It would have been great to catch the sunset on Lazarus Island, but it seems like we will need to save that for our next charter! 🙂

How much does it cost for me to have a Private Boat Charter?

The official rates are listed below.

A Weekend slot with 18 people will cost approx $91 per person(4 Hour slot) 

A Weekday slot with 18 people will cost approx $65 per person (2 Hour slot) 

If time permits, we feel that in order for one to enjoy the trip, one needs approximately 4 hours.

Weekend 4-Hour Rate: 
S$ 1,000.00 for 10 pax or less.
Each additional guest at S$ 80.00/pax.
Choose between 2 timeslots: Morning (10AM – 2PM) / Afternoon (3PM – 7PM)
Charter extension is possible at S$ 100.00/hour before 10AM (for Morning Session) or after 7PM (for Afternoon Session).

Weekday 2-Hour Rate: 
S$ 700.00 for 10 pax or less.
Each additional guest at S$ 60.00/pax.
Each additional hour at S$ 100.00/hour.
Any preferred timing is possible.

Maximum guest capacity: 18 pax
Public Holidays & Eves of Public Holidays are considered as Weekends.
