Santa Claus the Musical

Sponsored Review

Kids love Christmas and  Santa Claus! You can’t imagine my children’s delight when we were invited to the Media Preview of “Santa Claus the Musical” at Marina Bay Sands.

In fact, the moment that I broke the news to them that fateful day, they could not wait to come! My Son Nathan, even decided to dress up for the musical by wearing a Santa Hat for the show! And he walked in his Santa Hat, from the house…to the car…and all the way to Marina Bay Sands! I think you can tell that he loves Christmas! Smile

Featuring Santa Claus, Rudolph, Jack Frost and Dancing Penguins, the show magically comes to life, as you hear timeless classics like Jingle Bells and Santa Claus is coming to Town. Nathan was Super Thrilled when his personal favourite Jingle Bell Rock was sung as well!

Made by the producers of Annie and together with an all-star cast direct from the UK, this is a great musical to get the whole family into the holiday season. And Yes! With the Magical costumes and Christmas Classics being sung, the musical does make you feel like going home for some turkey and ham! Smile

If you are wondering about the plot, the story is basically about Santa Claus and his chief Elf Joe (Pictured below) trying to stop the Ice Queen and Jack Frost from spoiling Christmas. Within the plot, there is the added element of Romance and the classic battle between good and evil! Here are a few sneak peeks of the musical:

We also got to meet the cast of the show, and besides the main cast from UK, the cast includes kids who reside in Singapore.  Local kids who are 12 years and under have also been involved in the production, and they not only get to play Santa’s Elves but the Penguins as well. They have been really busy with the show, and they rotate with a cast of 16 kids. I could tell from my interview with them, that they really enjoyed working with the crew, and being involved with the whole production.

Which was the most magical part of the show?

The grand finale! It got my kids off their chairs and running in the aisles! Wouldn’t want to say too much to spoil the surprise for your family.
