It’s Nadine’s 3rd birthday! My little mei-mei is THREE! Woohoo!!!

If you don’t know Nadine, this is a quick intro to the princess:

Nadine, is truly the genteel proper lady of the house. She’s sweet and demure, sits quietly while she waits for her turn, eats slowly without chomping down her food, sips her drink daintily, speaks softly, and bursts into tears only when provoked. She’s really a epitome of sugar and spice and everything nice.

I’m not bias, but I really think she’s a very good girl, an angel to take care of and a baby to protect (so says many of her care givers at Nursery, Children’s Church and Playgroup)

What did we do for our mei-mei’s birthday? She had two parties, and as expected, she stood quietly but happily behind her birthday cake each time, while we put in the candles, took photos and sang the song.

 

Nadine, we love you! We are so so very proud of having such a beautiful girl who is so amazingly gentle and patient!

Today was a Great day for our Little Nadine, as it was time for her to celebrate her birthday!

This was the very 1st time that we were throwing her a party, and we had the celebrations at the office nursery.

Besides the food that we bought from Old Airport Road, all of Nadine’s favourite people were there.

We bought a birthday cake from our favourite cake shop Pat’s Pastry.

 

Mei Mei was actually quite shocked at the sudden attention focused on her. In fact, she froze when it was time to sing the birthday song, and even more importantly when it was time to blow the candles.

However, Nicole and Nathan did not freeze up at all, and they were all ready to “step up” when it was time to blow out the candles!

Mummy says it looks like Nathan’s Birthday, instead of Nadine’s.

With so many candles, the other kids could not resist getting into the act as well!

Many thanks once again to the Mummies and children who came to the party.

PS: Nadine loves the presents and she was happily opening them in the morning! (Actually, she opened the left over wrapper due to the much enthusiastic help from her siblings).

We just celebrated Nathan’s Birthday and Nathan thoroughly enjoyed his day.

On that day, Mummy had a conversation with him.

Mummy: What do you want for your Birthday?

Nathan: Cake!

Mummy: Yes, you will have a cake. What else do you want?

Nathan: Candle!

Mummy: haha… yes, there’ll be candles. What else do you want mummy and daddy to buy for you?

Nathan: Knife!

Mummy: ?!?!?!? That’s all? Anything else?

Nathan: Nope!

This was when Daddy have to open up his mind and ask him to ask for more things!

Daddy: Nathan! No Birthday will be complete without Presents! You have to ask for Presents when you celebrate your birthday! Do u want Presents?

Nathan: RIGHT! (He can’t tell when to say Yes or Right!)

Isn’t Life kind of like that? Sometimes we think we know a lot and we stop asking for more!

But we need someone bigger, to come along, and Open up our minds to help us to believe and ask for more.

I guess from now on, Nathan is going to ask for MORE, when he celebrates his birthday!
