Pan Pacific Hotel High Tea
Interested in having some High Tea? Every parent deserves a day out, and the Pacific Marketplace has something to offer families with a sweet tooth. Conveniently located at the lobby of the Pan Pacific Hotel, the Pacific Marketplace has something to offer hungry Singaporeans out on the weekend.
Introducing the new Imaginary Friends Afternoon Tea, specially tailored for this Festive Season. Built around Singaporean author Melanie Lee’s whimsical book Imaginary Friends: 26 Fables for the Kid in Us, this high tea simply brings the book to life.
Upon ordering the high tea set, the cakes and pastries will be delivered in this 3 tier carrier, which will delight the eyes of every child. A sitting at this high tea gives patrons an encounter with the Octopus Mirin Quiche with Bonito Flakes. Baked in a buttery crust, the mirin adds a bright touch to the textured octopus, and the bonito flakes leave a pleasant umami taste lingering on the palate. Other highlights include the Seaweed Swiss Roll, which combines savory and sweet seaweed flakes specking the fluffy vanilla sponge.
Durian lovers will be glad to know that the high tea comes with a Durian Puff with Spiked Meringue. My wife who hates durians avoided me like the plague after I put one into my mouth! 🙂
For Chocolate lovers, the Earl Grey-infused Chocolate Pralines, will not just delight your taste buds, but it will also remind you of the book. To keep the kids entertained, while one relaxes with one’s spouse, there is a book reading with Melanie Lee, as she brings her book alive.
Melanie will be at the Pacific Marketplace 6 and 20 December 2014, at 3:00pm.

If you are just looking for a place to relax, the Pacific Marketplace is one of the favorite Hot Spots for many of our friends.
