Jan and Elly June Holiday Programmes

With so many Enrichment Classes around,  every Parent is asking…”Where should I send my kids?” Besides the questions about curriculum, location and timings, one still has to contend with the fact that Junior must like the class! That’s why we love to go for trial Classes! These exploratory sessions give parents, some insight on what to expect, when classes start.

Previously, we sent Nadine for the Jan & Elly Pop Up picnic. We enjoyed the experience and as a result, we signed her for the Phonics Classes. Well there’s another pop-up class up this June Holidays! Plus the ever popular Speech & Drama classes! (Discounts coming up!!)

If you have kids 4-6 years old, do try to attend this Tea Party! It’s on 2 June (Monday) at Botanic Gardens, Food for Thought! Your child gets to learn some phonics the Jan & Elly way, have some mini tea time treats and juices, while parents get to meet the school’s director, Elly, for some good sharing. (In the last picnic we attended, we enjoyed the sharing tremendously as she told us stories about parenting, children learning and inspiring life experiences!)

It costs $15 per child (including all stationery, notes and refreshments). At the end of the Tea Party, there is a free on-the-spot assessment for all kids! You get to find out the level of phonics reading your child is at and that is very useful to know how you can help your child read better!

But wait there is also a Special Programme for the June Holidays as well. If you want to maximize the holiday period, you can send your kids to the very very popular Speech & Drama classes. They are having a 5 Day Holiday Programme where the kids can learn and have fun at the same time!  

Kids will be taught how to utilise spoken English, with an emphasis on theatrical expression. This would definitely build confidence and hone their presentation skills!

It costs $320 + $5 (for stationery) for this programme and it’s available at two Jan & Elly schools.
