We visited the Park during the “Deepavali” public holiday, and it seems like word has got around.  The park was full, with many parents making their first trip to the River Night Safari. If you are wondering what to expect at the River Safari, here is a summary of the activities that you can find.

Expect lots of photo booth opportunities with the Halloween creatures of the night. Friendly vampires and mermaids will be there for kodak moments with the kids.

The main activity hall is at the atrium which is located next to the restaurant located within the River Safari Park.

The kids will get a chance to do kid’s things like face painting, body tattoos, experience paleontology, make their own masks and other activities.

There is also a family show, where the kids can get to touch the animals! However, do take note that the spectator area is a bit small, so do go early to “chope” a good seat.

Overall, the visit to the River Safari, is rather affordable, as kids get to go in for free. We went on a public holiday and the queues were long. Therefore, do plan ahead, if you are heading to the River Safari on a weekend. Do also take note that NOT all the exhibits are open. If you are thinking of catching the China Pandas, you will disappointed to know that the exhibit is closed, together with other exhibits like the “boat ride”. Do visit the River Safari Website, to check out the limited operation issues.
