Casio ZR1000: Pictures in the Dark!
Sponsored Review
When you are travelling, don’t you find it nearly impossible to get a good photo, when the restaurant or the museum is too dark?
Or when are at a club, you just can’t get a good shot, or the pictures just come out blurry. (This is Part 2 of the Casio ZR1000 Review series, check out Part 1 here)
Well, the Casio ZR1000 might just solve all your problems! To prove its potential, lets put the Casio’s flagship consumer camera to the test.
Using a normal box to simulate dark conditions, we put a camera into facing a “len-sized” hall and let it take an ordinary photo.
Putting it on the Premium Auto Mode, we got an expected result As the box is too dark, and as the box prohibits us from using a flash, we could hardly get a clean shot for the picture within the box.
If you can’t make out what you are supposed to see. I put the photo through some simple post editing using the idiot proof “Picasa 3”. Using the Auto Contrast, you are able to make out a picture of a house, which has been inserted into the box. Check out the grainy texture/noise which can be seen in the photo.
However, the Casio ZR1000 has the technology to solve your low lighting problems. When one uses the “Best Shot” technology incorporated into the camera and switches to “High Speed Night Shot”, a whole new dimension is brought into the picture.
Amazing isn’t it!!!
With the Casio Camera taking multiple shots in quick succession and merging the shots together, the camera is able to produce photos even in a very dark environment. Definitely very useful when you are travelling, and find yourself without adequate lighting and a tripod! (Check out the ZOOM capability here)
Stay tuned as I will share more about the Casio ZR1000 in this series!
