2 Degree Ice Art Exhibition

There is a new exhibition in town, and it is so icy that it is cool!   Expect to see 20 Prominent landmarks like London’s Big Ben and Paris Eiffel Tower carved in Ice in Hot Humid Singapore. Created by the Ice Carving Masters from Harbin, China, feast your eyes on magnificent ice sculptures measuring up to 3m in height. Working together with the World’s most advanced refrigeration technology from Germany, Sculptures are maintained at a cool –15 degree Celsius, creating a winter wonderland for tropical Singaporeans.

The kids have never seen snow before, and they were excited about the prospect of entering a gigantic freezer. Kids up to 9yo, get to see the exhibition for FREE, while Adults have to pay $32 for admission. Customers who do not have winter jackets can rent your winter wear from the organizers. And they had a kids’ size jacket that is catered for all ages.

Illuminated with special lightings, the kids loved to take pictures with their favourite monuments.

The Favourite part of the exhibition for the kids was the Snow Slopes. Much shorter than the slope found at Snow City , the kids found the slope more accessible, as they did not have to climb too far to the top. You can imagine how excited the kids were, as they went up the slope again and again.

I guess their smiles and expressions speak for themselves. The hall is generally half the size of a football field, and a trip there might take a bit of an hour, which includes time on the slopes. Make sure you keep your kids warm, as my nose was running, after our time there!
