Asian Gymnaestrada
If you are into Gymnastics, we have some interesting news for the kids!
Singapore will be hosting the 4th Asian Gymnaestrada in Singapore from 1-3 Nov 2013.
The Gymnaestrada is a non competitive event under the FIG (Federation Internationale Gymnastique). This “Gymnastics for All” is a sport for everyBODY, regardless of age, gender or ability. It is the perfect activity to prepare children for long-term participation in sport and develops vital life skills, and definitely a great activity for seniors like me.
The World Gymnaestrada attracts 20 thousand participants from all over the world. Finland will be hosting the 15 World Gymnaestrada in Helsinki in 2015.
To date SG has received confirmation to participate from: Australia, China, Germany, Israel, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Qatar, Switzerland. Thailand, Uzbekistan.
