WD My Passport Wireless Storage Drive

All parents today carry a digital camera! Whether it is a small point and shoot or the latest DLSR, digital cameras are here to stay! However, have you ever went out with the family and realized that your memory card is full? Or what if you accidentally delete your photos, and you have no other copies? Well, the WD Portable Storage drive, may have the solution to all your digital imaging problems.

Recently, we were invited for a baking session at “The Little House of Dreams”, and experience WD’s latest My Passport wireless drive at the same time. Located at the Central in the Clarke Quay area, we were in for a treat, as the kids were going to bond with daddy over a cookie baking session. As you would probably have guessed, Daddy does not spend much time in the kitchen, and this was going to be Daddy’s maiden experience with the cookie dough and oven. Doesn’t it sound like fun already!

Armed with my DSLR, I was ready to record this milestone, and add it into our library of memories! 🙂

The Good thing is that we were not going to do this alone. Here is a picture of our instructor of the day, and it was definitely needful for someone to show us the way! 🙂

As you can see, the kids had great fun and so did Daddy. The cute Hello Kitty mold was a hit with the kids, and they were more than ready to add the famous cat to their cookie creations. Besides being busy taking photos, Daddy also  had great fun learning to bake as well! 🙂

But wait, there is a tech-kie part of this event, that all Dads will like!

After taking my photos, the staff gave me a chance to play with the WD My Passport wireless device. With the wireless storage drive, I could immediately upload the photos that I took. This means that I had the reassurance that I have backed up all my photos, and I could also view them on my hp with the WD application. This is certainly useful, as it  means that I can immediately post my high res photos onto instagram, and also share the photos with my family tablets, and on My Cloud device.

I definitely liked what I saw, and with the hard disk having a battery capacity of 20 hours, it sounds like a great travel accessory when we go for our holidays. The device can further serve as a Wi-Fi hub to share an internet connection and stream movies to connected players on our travels. This means that all the kids movies, can be stored on this wireless hard disk and watched on the plane or in the hotel room! The possibilities are endless!

This WD My passport Wireless drive is certainly useful, and it is certainly a device that one will want to  add to his or her Christmas Shopping list.
