Monopoly Singapore Giveaway
The Monopoly Giveaway is finally here!
Most of us should be familiar with Monopoly, but how about a version that Singaporeans can relate to. Singaporean Kids may not know be familiar with
Broadwalk, Mayfair or other UK/American landmarks, and to make the family game more relevant to Singaporeans, you can get your hands onto this Singapore edition.
This double sides game board, features iconic past and current Singaporean landmarks, as they get to purchase properties like “Lau Pa Sat”, “General Post Office” and even Oxley Estate (I told the kids that this is where LKY stays
)
The “Current” era of the game allows the use of Credit Cards, and an electronic banking unit, which means that Kids get to shop with a debit card, and there is no need for the use of cash at all.
Check out the cute Singaporean tokens like a Durian, a trishaw and other things that you find in Singapore.
And the Good News is that we have 3 sets of the “Singapore Monopoly: Then and Now” to Giveaway.
All you need to do is:
1. Comment on this blog and tell us your favourite Monopoly edition and why.
2. Join the ED Unloaded Facebook Page (if you have not done so).
3. Share this blog page on your Facebook Wall (For those new to this process, you can do this by sharing the link from the ED Unloaded Facebook Page, and pasting it on your FB Wall. Do help me by TAGGING me as well, so that I know that you have done it.)

My favourite Monopoly edition is actually the classic because it was the very first Monopoly that I played with my cousins!

My favourite version is the London version which I grew up playing with my siblings 30 years ago. I think monopoly had changed so much by looking at your review on this Singapore version.

my favourite version has got to be this one! With electronic banking unit and “durians” to add to the flavor of Singapore, why not?! Lol!

My favourite version is this new set of Singapore : Then and Now. It teaches the history of Singapore and the credit card device is so cool.

My favourite version is the traditional version (play with paper cash) because it was the first Monopoly that I played with my sister during my growing up years.

To me, the good old original one is still the best. I grew up playing it and it is my favourite board game.
July 10th, 2012 at 3:20 am
My favourite edition is of course the original version especially it was a gift from my teacher that led to the monopoly craze!

My favourite Monopoly version is the “Uniquely Singapore” (Special Edition) version. Because it is not just featuring the good food and icons of Singapore but also because it was the first Monopoly set both my husband and I got!
Brings good memories!

My favourite version is monopoly classic on iphone. I used to play it everyday on my way back from work. It really taught me how to react to the randomness of life. There were many times when I was losing initially, but ended up winning because I persisted to not quit till it is really over.

Electronic Banking! no more sorting of pesky $M! this has gotta be my favourite!
July 10th, 2012 at 8:20 am

I love the classic game with the paper money… of course I’d crave to be a banker every time! Now with electronic banking, how not to keep up with technological times! Good to teach my children to play with! Let me win~~~ LOL

the classic! period!
July 10th, 2012 at 2:37 pm
My favourite would be the original Monopoly Singapore edition. When I’m really young there wasn’t any ipads or electronic games to play with, so monopoly is the only form of entertainment that I can play for hours, day after day.

I must say it is the Classic Version that I grew up with because childhood memories are very much the sweetest part in life, especially so as one gets older ^_^
shared on facebook and thanks for the giveaway.

My fav is the classic monopoly with paper cash! That’s what made monopoly unique and fun, despite a little troublesome, in my opinion
July 14th, 2012 at 3:23 am
Like many others I still like to classic version the best as that reminds me of my childhood!
July 14th, 2012 at 5:02 am
I like the FB version, don’t have to wait for everyone to be present to play it! But having a board game version is good!
July 14th, 2012 at 3:18 pm
Monopoly: The Card Game
More convenient to bring along and play with friends outside of my home.
July 14th, 2012 at 4:12 pm
The classic game with paper cash that accompanied me and my sis throughout our childhood times.Really missed those days…
July 15th, 2012 at 4:43 am
The Here & Now Edition for it’s electronic banking makes the game less “messy” without the flying away money…
July 15th, 2012 at 5:39 am
I have yet to try out all the versions, but I still prefer the original version, played a decade ago as a child. Everything felt so original and less complicated, as compared to the revised versions though it has easier player guide. That’s when the “money” really resembles the actual one and the taste of holding pieces of “money” was indescribable.

My favourite monopoly edition would be the classic/original set. As it brings about fond memories of the times the cousins and friends used to play monopoly together during chalets and gatherings. It’s a great game for bonding and we had many good laughs while playing the game.
