Alice in Wonderland
During Christmas, the shopping malls are filled with performances to usher in the holiday season. With the school holidays in full swing, these performances are also well attended. This year, I had the chance to catch “Alice in Wonderland” at Forum Galleria.
Although these performances are FREE, the quality of these productions are getting better and better, and the shopping Mall engaged this production company from Australia. As the result, the Actors are LOUD, BOLD and SPONTANEOUS, and great for a mild Singaporean crowd!
The production company does two shows (Alice in Wonderland, The Night before Xmas) and we managed to catch the production of “Alice in Wonderland” at 1pm. As it was FREE Seating, we had to go early, to make sure that we got good seats.
The production is essentially a mini musical with all your popular characters like Alice:
The Rabbit:
The Mad Hatter:
And the Queen of Hearts:
Together they presented Evergreen Xmas Carols and songs that engaged the children.
Together with Father Xmas, they gave an engaging performance!
What was best about this production, was that there was a Art and Craft workshop immediately after the Performance. Here, the cast will go down and mingle with the kids, and it was great to get up- close and personal with the various characters. This is a nice touch and a stark contrast to other productions in the past years, when the cast is really far away from the audience.
The kids really enjoyed enjoyed the show and making the Xmas Decorations as well!
If you want to catch the performance, here are the performance details:
Nov 27 (Sat) – Dec 12 (Sun)
Daily Show Times: 1pm (Alice in Wonderland) and 5pm (Night b4 Xmas)
Location: Forum Galleria Singapore
*No shows on Tuesdays

Thanks for the info.
Believe that the performances will alternate between the 2 timings instead of being fixed at 1pm (Alice in Wonderland) and 5pm (Night b4 Xmas).
