Birthday Party ideas

So many things happened in the month of June, that I have been just trying to catch up with my blogging.

One event that has been begging to be blogged about is Nicole’s Birthday Party. Previously she has had party themes like a “Milo Party” or a “Traffic Light Party”, but this year we decided to keep it simple, and just have a birthday party! Smile

The best thing about Kids is that they are “Born to Party”. They enjoy any form of entertainment and Daddy was “roped in” to become game master due to last minute hiccups.

Even though I had just recovered from Dengue fever, I managed to muster all my strength, to lead the kids in a simple “Aeroplane” game!

Every Party also needs a Magician, and we arranged for one of our friends from Taiwan to help out in this area. It was quite intriguing to watch a magic show in Mandarin rather than English.

Mummy also engaged a Caricaturist who made our day by drawing fun pictures of the adults and kids! Smile The kids also enjoyed taking turns in the “Hot Seat”, so that they could be drawn by our cartoonist.

The highlight for Nicole was of course her “Hello Kitty” birthday cake. Made of Agar agar, it proved to be very edible! (check out the strategic candle positions)

And my little girl was absolutely delighted when the rest of the kids sang “Happy Birthday” at the top of their voices!

And of course Nicole also enjoyed her many “Kodak Moments” with her form teacher and her classmates.

Many Thanks to everyone for making it a great day for our little girl!
