Sentosa Flowers
Chinese New Year at Sentosa means its the season for flowers!
This year we were invited to Palawan Beach at Sentosa to witness one of the highlights of the Season, where they are putting together the longest Snake Sand Sculpture!
This Sand Sculpture is part of Sentosa’s flower extravaganza, which returns for the 8th time this year, bringing with it the theme of “Joys of Spring!”
Built and Sculptured by our home grown talent JOOheng, we were invited to be one of the first few people to decorate the snake! The kids always love playing outdoors, and they just could not wait to get their hands dirty!
The kids really loved painting the snake just the way they liked it, and for “City Kids” just as themselves, it was definitely a fun activity! You will be glad to know that the whole of the beach area is being decorated with flowers, based on the year of the Snake. Through the years, Sentosa Flowers has won two awards at the International Festivals and Events Association (IFEA) Annual Pinnacle Awards.
The Flower Festival runs from February 9 to 17 , and more information can be found on the Sentosa website
