Make your own Ice Cream!
Have you ever been to shops such as “Toys R Us”, and be completely amazed by toys that claim to produce real food!
I always am….and recently we bought for Nicole an “Ice Cream Parlour” that produces REAL ICE CREAM!
Yes! That’s Right! REAL ICE CREAM!
When I saw the toy, I was intrigued! After all, I grew up in a generation when you don’t eat the food that you play with.
After deciding to buy the toy, we bought the real ingredients needed to produce the ICE CREAM!
We bought the cream, milk, chocolate and we were ready to make delicious ice cream in tropical Singapore!
As you can see, the kids were just as enthusiastic as us! The moment we started on the project, the kids were jostling to get in front.
Following the instructions found in the Ice Cream Manual, we put ice in a container (we added salt as well to maintain the temperature)
Next, we poured in the chocolate mix over the ice container, and turned the container as instructed.
Did we get the chocolate ice cream as promised???….
Well, Let’s just say…That we got CHOCOLATE FLAVOURED…
Daddy and Mummy were terribly disappointed with the Milk Shake. However, the kids seemed to be unaffected and they were ready to drink their Milk Shake!
Daddy of course says NO….what a gross dessert!
Daddy Verdict on this toy:
Don’t think about getting it! We certainly did not get any ice cream that night, and being a kiasu parent, I am afraid that they may get a tummy-ache drinking from Daddy’s concoction!
What’s worse was that the toy cost Daddy at least $30 dollars!

just return the toys to the shop & get a refund. You can do so much with $30.00 Almost the price of a food blender. ( for healthy eating ). The kids will enjoy making fruit drinks.
