Recently, we were invited by Florida Natural to embark on a “All Natural” Challenge! Together with Florida Natural, we invited our Facebook readers to join our challenge. We were given 3 boxes marked A, B and C, and our readers had to guess the order in which we were going to undertake our challenges. Ever ready to try something different, we took on the challenge, and so did our readers! 🙂 Oh, Btw, there was a sweetener involved as well, as 1 reader who guessed correctly was going to walk away with 1 month’s supply of Florida Natural Juice! 🙂  (To find out more, take a look at our FB Page)

And as time would have revealed the First Box that we opened was none other than Box C!

Opening the contents of Box C, we found out that we had to make Spaghetti with Florida Natural Orange Juice! We have never tried something like this before, and we jumped at the chance to try something new.

It was easy! Here’s our recipe:

Ingredients

Set 1:

1/4 cup Florida Natural Orange Juice

3 Tbsp Soy Sauce

3 Tbsp Peanut Butter

2 Tbsp Sesame Oil

2 Tsp Grated Ginger

Set 2:

Spaghetti

1 cup Mixed Vegetables

500g peeled shrimps

 

Directions

Mix all the ingredients in Set 1 together in a large bowl. Prepare the spaghetti according to package details, before draining, add in the mixed vegetables. Drain Set 2 and mix it together with Set 1.

Grill the shrimps for 3-5 minutes. Serve together with the Pasta.

 

The kids were delighted with this challenge, as they really love their spaghetti. They could not wait for us to finish cooking, and they were ready to slurp up every noodle from the bowl! 🙂

Next up, was Box A!

Opening up the box, we found card games and Popsicles! Using Florida Natural, we made Orange Popsicles and enjoyed this treat together with our card games. Since young, I have always adored Ice Lollies, and I remember running to the provision shop downstairs to buy those ice lolly sticks. Traditionally, these lollies are just full of syrup and totally unhealthy for the young ones. However, with Florida Natural’s recipe, we had an All Natural lolly without any preservatives. The kids came home from school, dripping wet from perspiration and totally enjoying the popsicles! So Refreshing! 🙂

Popsicles were really easy! We did a really easy version! Just pour Florida’s Natural Orange Juice into popsicle holders, and threw them into the freezer. Viola!! Super yummy refreshing Popsicles!

And for the last challenge, it was Box B!

We made Florida Jelly! Every kid loves Jelly, and we managed to make jelly with one of the best juices in town!

Our family is totally enjoying the juices! In our tropical weather, the cool refreshing juices which are a product of USA, are a huge welcome and we love the fact that Florida Natural is not made from concentrate and it is made from 100% pure juice! 🙂 It is therefore not surprising, that every time we pass by the Florida cartons at our local Supermarket, we are always tempted to put a few in! 🙂
