AXA@POST: Convenience for your insurance needs!

Gone are the days when you just went to the Post Office just to buy stamps! The services at Singpost has broken new paradigms, and more so in this last decade. Recently, at an official AXA@POST launch celebration, AXA announced its partnership with SingPost, and that it is bringing its general insurance and current life insurance solutions, to AXA@POST branches.

AXA is not a stranger to the Singapore consumer, and I first encountered AXA when they insured my car. As one of the World’s Largest Insurers, they provided reliable service and I enjoyed my fuss-free tenure with them. With their increased presence at 34 Post offices across Singapore, one will have no problems getting help with your insurance needs. Whether it is a policy for ones  car, home, travel, savings, life or investment plans, AXA has something to offer the everyday consumer.

Most consumers are like me, and we are “rookies” when it comes to figures and the “fine prints” found in most insurance policies. Although we can goggle and read brochures about policies, we prefer to meet a real life consultant to explain the finer points. The good news is that all 34 Singpost outlets will have a financial consultant based there, and every AXA@POST consultant is a certified financial consultant. It is no wonder that, Mrs Doina Palici-Chehab, Chief Executive Officer of Axa Insurance Singapore, reiterated at the Press Conference, “AXA@POST is an important part of our business strategy to expand our customer touch-points and bring insurance closer to our customers in Singapore. Today, I am pleased to be able to complete our insurance protection efforts by adding general insurance solutions. Axa is introducing mobile device systems for customers at AXA@POST outlets, offering ease of applications and browsing of information at one touch.”

What a apt statement to underline the convenience, that is brought about by this partnership.

As AXA wants to offer its expertise with more frequency, its presence at 34 Post offices will not stop there. AXA revealed that it will expand into 10 more SingPost branches, reaching a total of 44 SingPost outlets by the end of 2015. This is a strategy that will further reach out to and present customers with a holistic suite of protection solutions at a one-stop destination.

And wait, there is also Good News for all of us! To celebrate the introduction of general insurance solutions to AXA@POST, customers at AXA@POST will be able to enjoy a 15% discount on car insurance SmartDrive, and 20% off SmartTraveller, SmartHome, and SmartCover to protect travel plans, the home, and against personal accidents respectively.

Savings is always good and this promotion is valid until 30 June 2015.
