Quite a list I must say! 🙂
How was the experience at the Photo Studio?
Upon entering the studio on the day of our appointed shoot, he spent a good half an hour getting to know us, and the whole extended family. He did not look like he had a schedule to keep, even though he probably had one! 🙂
Understanding that Kids have moods, and not exactly the easiest people to photograph, he has the uncanny ability to not just help the kids relax, but the rest of the family as well.
As we stepped into his “shooting area”, the kids were initially a bit apprehensive. After all, which family goes for a photo shoot everyday?!? But just as he was about to click, he let out this “Farting” sound, which drew the giggles out of the kids! Needless to say, the “fart” broke the ice, and the kids were good to shoot for the next half an hour.
I must say that the experience of a good photoshoot is very much dependent on one’s synergy with the photographer. In the case of a family, the kids and parents must feel at ease with the cameraman. After all, how do you create moments, when you don’t feel the moment! 🙂
These are some of the smiles that I managed to catch for that day, as I shadowed the master, as he was at his work! 🙂
We thoroughly enjoyed our family photoshoot, and although it lasted for about an hour, the kids will begin to feel it, after the first half an hour. I had to get some sodas to keep my son in a happy mood, as kids are not exactly the most cooperative people! 🙂
(Tip: If you are going for a family photoshoot with the kids, it would be ideal to keep some snacks in the bag, to offer as rewards for cooperation.)
How do you get your Photo Prints?
Everything is done online! When the photos are ready, Hart will send you a link, and you get to choose your favorite photos, at the comfort of your home. There is no pressure buying, as you can make a selection, sleep over it, get opinions from friends, and then decide on the print.
Photo Prints are sent to your house via Courier, and there is no added hassle of making a trip down to the studio. This is important, as you might not live in the East.
The above shots were taken by me, as I was recording the experience, but these shots below are taken by the grand master himself 🙂
What are 3 things that you love about Tomato Photo?

Is Tomato Photo different from her Competitors?
At Tomato Photo, Hart was clearly very passionate about photography and us, as his subjects. He has a certain ease with the customers, where clients are recurring, and continue to record their journey at the studio after a few years. If you are engaging your family in a photoshoot, it will be good to have a chat with the photographer. Besides liking the style of photos taken, I feel that synergy should play a significant role in ones’ decision making.
