Legally Blonde the Musical

Mother’s day is here and this year’s celebration was at Marina Bay Sands. We caught “Legally Blonde the Musical” with some of the girls in the family and the ladies enjoyed themselves as they went blonde together with Elle Woods and her friends at Harvard Law School 🙂

Based on the movie “Legally Blonde”  (starring Reese Witherspoon), Elle Woods demonstrates that she is no dumb blonde by applying her brains and getting herself into Harvard Law. Expecting to win back her love by entering law school, she discovers so much more, as she uncovers her calling in life.

Yes! It’s a simple plot but put in a little bit of Hollywood and together with a fun plot, one gets a great night out with the family! Although the melodies are not as catchy as those found in other Award Winning musicals, Legally Blonde makes up for it through witty dialogue and a comical twist in the famous trial scene.

If you love watching fun-loving high school musical comedies while growing up, Legally Blonde the Musical will be just right up the same alley. You can’t help but root for this down to earth Blonde, who has a knack for making complicated matters look simple! The musical has a great feel-good factor which also teaches core values of hard work, integrity and basic common sense!
