Star Wars Kinect
Last week at the invitation of Xbox, I went to the launch party for “Kinect Star Wars” at the Ion Rooftop.
Besides being excited to see the latest Star Wars Kinect Game, I felt a great disturbance in the force, when I realized that Microsoft made it a costume party. This was really cool as Daddy and the kids got to see the room full of Seths, Padawans, Stormtroopers and other Star Wars Characters!
The kids were excited…scared…nervous…as you can see, they felt a range of emotions as they met the Star Wars characters up close.
As Nathan held his light sabre for the very 1st time, he was intrigued by the weapon that glowed in the dark!
The sight of the Star Wars characters and the whole ambience of the place got Daddy excited as well. He was actually a Star Wars fan while growing up, and played with many of the Star Wars figurines.
Lord Vader and the Microsoft team eventually launched the Star Wars Kinect game with much fanfare.
The latest game sounds really interesting for any Star Wars Fan, as it allows you to fulfil your destiny as a Jedi, and engage the Dark forces in combat. Other modes includes duels of fate, where you go One-on-One with the Dark Forces, Pod racing across galaxies, and even a Galactic Dance off. Yes! You get to dance for that ultimate slime ball “Jabba the Hutt” and perfect your dance moves!
And for All Star Wars fanatics, there is also a Xbox 360 Limited Edition “Kinect Star Wars” console bundle. This collaborative effort between Lucas Arts and Microsoft boosts of a R2-D2 blue-and-white themed console, which creates the same sounds that R2 makes, as you turn it on…
Cool right…Its so exciting that I felt a disturbance in the Force as I was blogging…
So if you are a Star Wars fan, this might be game to check out (Find out more here)…and before I go…I just wanted to say…
May the Force be with YOU!
