The King Louis Giveaway–Closed
On the week of our Birthdays, we were invited for a special dinner at “The King Louis”. Always on the lookout for family friendly restaurants, we “goggled” to find out more about the restaurant. Guess what we found out?
Located at Vivo City, The King Louis is a restaurant for families, as it has been rated by various Parenting magazines as a Top Family Restaurant!
We were thus looking forward to a delicious, relaxing dinner, and we were not disappointed! 
Set in a medieval theme, the restaurant comes decked with Armour, Shields and weaponry that brings you back in time. Against this background and parked at the edge of Vivo City, the restaurant gives a great view of Sentosa, and the fireworks from RWS on weekends as well.
Besides the medieval decorations, one thing that we parents thoroughly enjoyed was the live music. The resident Singer who hails from Philippines has a really rich smooth voice, and we initially thought that it was a CD playing, as we did not notice the stage when we walked in. His reportoire of songs, include all the late night classics that you hear on the radio, and he definitely got us tapping to the beat, as he sang through his “sets” at the restaurant.
Adults and NS men especially will like the offerings The King Louis. Servings are definitely LARGE! The banquets come in American Sized Servings, where platters can definitely be shared by more than the recommended numbers. Pictured below is the Queen Victoria Banquet! (Priced at $108.50) This includes meat and seafood which is recommended for 2&3 Persons. The servings are generous, and it will probably take 5 ladies to finish this platter!
The kids loved their meals and especially the signature mushroom soup. The 3 kids shared the soup, and they had to have another serving before they attacked their main course! Check out Nathan’s excited face!!!

If you are interested to try out the restaurant during lunch time, you may want to try out their set lunch menu which runs from 12pm to 3pm. Prices start from $10.50 onwards and includes (Complimentary Dessert, Soup and Drink)
