Romeo and Juliet – Giveaway
As we enter 2014, we have another GIVEAWAY to announce for all our Readers! With Valentine’s day coming up in February, there is no better way to celebrate this special day, than by catching one of Shakespeare’s classics “Romeo and Juliet”.
Staged by Singapore’s Toy Factory, journey together with the Star-Crossed Lovers, as you watch the vicious family blood feud between the Montagues and the Capulets presented romantically for a modern audience. I am sure that many of us grew up with this classic, and I remember some of my friends doing this book for their O Level Literature exams. I am sure everyone of us have heard of this classic, and what better way to relive it, than by watching it staged “Live”!
Romeo & Juliet is directed by Nell Ng, one of Kuala Lumpur’s most notable directors. Benjamin Kheng, singer/musician from international hit band the Sam Willows, stars as Romeo, alongside the willowy ingenue that is Theresa Wee-Yenko, playing Juliet in her professional theatre debut.
Come root for their battle to love, and watch Toy Factory’s sexy resurrection of this ancient classic at the Drama Centre. Tickets for “Romeo and Juliet” start from $49 onwards.
