International Champions Cup (Giveaway)
World Cup Fever is in full swing and there is more football awaiting Singapore Soccer Fans! The International Champions Cup is set to run from July 26-30 and Singaporeans can catch the new-look Arsenal team under new Arsenal Head Coach, Unai Emery in the flesh. Together with Atlético de Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, the International Champions Cup offers fans a sneak peek at the best soccer which Europe offers.
For fans of Paris Saint-Germain, they can catch the new coach Tuchel who was recently appointed to take over the reins at Parc des Princes. The matches in Singapore will be among the first few instances where he will be with his new team.
The former Borussia Dortmund tactician has been widely credited for his great job in Germany with a very enterprising and attacking style of play. Expectations will be high from fans who want to see what the new manager can bring to the table for the 7-time Ligue 1 champion, especially against his predecessor Emery. I don’t know about you, but the tournament definitely sounds exciting! 🙂
My son is an Arsenal fan and I am sure that he will be excited to catch household names like; Aaron Ramsey, Henrikh Mkihtaryan, Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in attack.
A new era at the Emirates Stadium club also means that Emery has moved quickly to strengthen the squad he inherited, with deals to sign Stephan Lichtsteiner, from Juventus, and Bernd Leno, from Bayer Leverkusen, already completed.
I don’t think all the top players for the International Champions Cup will be in town, as teams like Paris St Germain have players like Neymar, Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe involved in the World Cup … but I am definitely looking out for who will show up in Singapore. It will definitely be good to catch Neymar in action! 🙂
