Nicole’s Performance at School
This week, Nicole had her Reader’s Theatre Performance at School. Reader’s Theatre is where the kids get to recite and dramatize the many stories/poetries that they have learned in school. Nicole was so excited about the performance that she asked to sleep early the night before, and she was so looking forward to the performance that she kept on waking up all through the night!
The kids are also sworn to secrecy, such that no one is supposed to tell Daddy and Mummy about their performance. As a result, the kids avoid talking about their “BIG DAY”, so that the performance will be a surprise for the Parents. Nicole definitely did exceptionally well in this aspect!
On the BIG DAY, there were tons of parents squeezed into the music room and each one fully-armed! There were parents equipped with compact cameras, DSLRs, Video Cams, and every other audio visual recording device known to MAN!
We were ready to record this event, as one of our family milestones!
So, sit back, as I try to give you the main points on the event in PICTURES!
After the performance, the kids brought the parents around the school and they introduced to us the many things which they learnt in school. It was a fun time for the parents as Daddy and Mummy had time to catch up with other parents, as well as with the teachers.
As you can see…Nicole definitely had a great time, and many thanks to the teachers at her school for investing their time into our little princess! My apologies but Nicole did not manage to get a picture with all her teachers, but this is a snapshot of some of the teachers that played a role in her life! Many thanks for all your love!
