PAssion ACM Movie Night (Presented by NESCAFE)
Last week, we had the opportunity to attend Movie Night at the Asian Civilisation Museum. Besides the Museum being Opened to all guests, it was also a great family day for kids and their grandparents.
When I was young, I had the unique opportunity of going to the “Drive-thru” Cinema in Jurong , and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Movie Night has a similar concept, except that it is a “Picnic Under the Stars” This is definitely a really cool idea, considering the fact that most of us are brought up in this concrete jungle.
Our friends from the museum were really very nice, as they greeted us with a goody bag sponsored by NESCAFE! Yes! The picnic basket was the goody bag for the event! How Appropriate right!
And it had stuff like Milo inside which the kids really loved! 🙂
Together with food from KFC, Fish balls and Pizza, the kids were really happy! It’s like what they say…Singaporeans just need FOOD! 🙂
As you can see, we were not the only family there! Many families were out in force…
And with a picturesque skyscrapers as a backdrop….they were all in the mood to have fun! 🙂
Besides the picnic food, the museum also had special activites catered for the kids!
There was a special area just for the kids to colour and make things things, as well as FREE Body Art Tattoos!
But there were no complaints from the kids! As they really liked their colourfull tattoos!
The screening of “Despicable Me” started at 8pm, and everyone was ready for it!
As it was a cartoon, it was not too long, and everyone enjoyed it. Will definitely be looking forward to the next Movie Night by ACM! 🙂
