The internet has brought with it many wonders, and one of the best things about broadband internet, is that it allows me to watch stuff that I missed out on during the day…

If you don’t already know, Mediacorp has launched Catchup TV on the internet, so you can catch up on some of the dramas, sitcoms and reality series that you missed while you were out. This service is invaluable, considering the busy lives that we all live.

With this service, you can catch up with “Desperate Housewives”, “White Collar” and my favourite reality series “Amazing Race”

Currently, the reality show is into its 17th season, and I am particularly fond of this season, as it has Kev Jumba in it.

I have been following Kevin’s vblogs in the internet for some time, as it is really funny watching him in action. Kevin is quite hilarious when he makes fun of his typically Asian Dad, and he actually gets his Dad involved in his gags as well. Catch this Youtube video to see what I mean (This is one of his funniest Vblogs)

Well, they just got eliminated from the race, and that is a real “downer” as I was kind of “rooting” for the Asians! Hmm…I wonder why…

Anyway, here are some highlights from the Amazing Race about Team Jumba

I just stumbled onto this American Asian on Youtube and I think that he is HILARIOUS!

According to Wikipedia, this Taiwanese is Youtube’s most subscribed comedian and I think he is much funnier than Natalie from the Community Channel.

Not only does he make funny jibes at Asian Stereotypes but he also "ropes" in his dad in his videos as well.

The fact that his traditional taiwanese father is able to play along with him highlights the fact that he has quite a good relationship with his dad! I wonder if my little Nathan will get me to do the same, when he is older!

Parenting Tip

I think it just goes to show that when we spend time with our children, we will certainly reap the rewards when they hit their teens.

Anyway, U got to watch the Youtube selections I have chosen, to fully understand what I have been laughing about.

 

Btw, According to Wikipedia, it seems that KevJumba has a BIG HEART as well. He started JumbaFund which raises money for a charity as well. I think we can definitely learn something from him!
