Looking for a good holiday program for kids and adults? The Megachamps Workshop at Trainium academy may just be what you are looking for! In today’s society, speaking well is an important skill that one needs to master and giving children a head start is important! Getting your child to Speak with Confidence, may just be the enrichment program, which your child needs.
Gone are the days where, students were just focused only on grades and the scholastic aspects of education. With the evolving curriculum, the emphasis has shifted. Today’s education is more balanced, with attention being paid on the holistic development of children. We were therefore looking forward to our experience with Trainium Academy.
First off, who is Trainium Academy?
Trainium Academy is a Professional Skills Training Provider, specializing in specific areas of EQ and other soft-skills training. Trainium Megachamps is interested in training the champions of tomorrow. Through fun filed activity based developmental workshops and inspirational training, their holiday workshops are aimed at helping children and youths excel.
Speak with confidence is a 2 day workshop, where kids are trained to speak and do it with confidence! Being taught the basics of public speaking, the kids learned to project their voice, illustrate their points and interact with their audience. The kids loved their experience, as the kids learnt through play!
The kids learnt about team dynamics, as they made new friends, and learnt the best way to present their speech. It was definitely a fruitful time for the kids, as they were actively applying their minds, and learning about concepts like IQ and EQ, as they worked together with their peers. Courses are conducted by Principal Trainer Eugene Seah, who is an energetic speaker, and also a father of 3! (Check out his energy in the photo below!) The Good news is that the holiday program ensures that the kids are maximizing their “Holiday time” and not lazing around the house. On the last day of the course, Parents are also invited to the seminar, so that they can pick up first hand experience on what the kids have learnt.
It was certainly heart warming to see the kids make their presentations, and overcoming their fears about speaking in public! 🙂
