Christmas Turkey from The Rotisserie

Media Invite

Christmas is just round the corner, and everyone is fretting over their Christmas Dinners. To celebrate the holiday season, having a Christmas or a Thanksgiving Turkey is MUST!  As Turkeys can be rather “dry”, having a perfect Turkey at your dinner party, can be quite a challenging task. We were thus looking forward to sampling the Turkeys from The Rotisserie.

The Christmas Turkey at the Rotisserie can come a-la-carte or as part of a takeaway festive pack. We were invited to sample the Takeaway menu for ourselves, and the $180 package included a traditional Roasted Turkey, Honey Glazed Ham and a Christmas Fruit Cake.  Built to serve 8-10 people, we were excited when we saw our Turkey for the first time!

And guess what…It was BIG!!!

I have seen some Turkeys in my life-time, and sometimes they can a wee bit undernourished. However, the Turkeys from The Rotisserie are very decently sized, and definitely more than able to feed 10 people.

In terms of taste, the Turkey exceeded our expectations, as it was not dry, but moist to the taste. The meat was well seasoned, and for once, I can safely say that I enjoyed my Turkey. Normally, I will only take a slice, and avoid the bird. However, I am happy to report that my family went back for seconds.  Rotisseri turkey

If you are thinking of ordering the Turkey alone, it is $120 per bird, making the Christmas Takeaway meal value for money, as you get much more for $180. Check out the menu below for the more intimate festive details:

To complete our review of The Rotisserie, we managed to visit their restaurants as well. They have outlets in the Shenton Way, Marina Bay Link and opening soon at Suntec City as well. We visited their outlet at Claymore (Orchard Road) and sampled some other offerings from their menu.  the rotisserie

The restaurant is intimately decorated, and one can expect Pasta, Roasted Chicken and other Western delicacies at their outlet. Here is a pictorial presentation of what we sampled on our visit to the restaurant:

quarter chicken

The Fish and Chips pictured below was a hit with Nathan, and beyond the flour, the fish was juicy and succulent. This was our favorite dish of the night!: )

As one can see, the Rotisserie has got quite a good selection of Western food, with the Christmas offerings of this season, definitely catching our eye!  In fact, we just ordered and devoured a Turkey this week, and the restaurant did not disappoint in consistency! 🙂
