Steamboat and Yu Sheng Factory Outlet
Just this week, we went to check out Woodlands Terrace for some bargains!
As it is Chinese New Year Week, we are anticipating lots of Steamboat Parties and gatherings. Hence, a good bargain is essential during this holiday season.
And the Good News is that we were not disappointed!
If you are Singaporean, you will thoroughly enjoy the spread of food available at Woodlands Terrace! They had warehouses which sold Steamboat ingredients, Seafood like Sashimi, Japanese Unagi, Cod Fish, Scallops,Tiger Prawns…Meats like Beef. Pork, English Sausages…Pastries like Beef Pies to Brownies…to essential ingredients like Soy Sauce….and all these at Factory Direct Prices. 
As we were looking to have lots of Steamboat this CNY, we first checked out the Steamboat Wholesaler.
The Prices were cheaper than those we found at the local supermarket, and we found stuff that the kids would like as well! Check out these Angry Birds Fish Cake! I am sure that these essential ingredients will make Steamboat an even bigger hit with the kids! 
This place is definitely bargain city, as it is truly the factory outlet for food!!! Frankly, I was got by surprise by the amount of foodstuff available at Woodlands Terrace…that I did not even come prepared with a camera. I ended up taking photos with my Samsung S3. So sorry, that some of the photos are not as sharp as they should be…
Yes! Even if it is Non CNY period, many of my friends come to Fassler to buy its Salmon Sashimi, Fresh Frozen Soup (Onion, Cream of Mushroom, Clam Chowder, etc.). The Seafood is fresh and the cuts are good! Check out their address and website details here. You can even Order Online!
The Seafood as Fassler is also packed in a Cold Room which is a huge freezer. We went in and freezed our butts off, as we went from shelf to shelf looking for bargains! Check out Nicole’s Face in the photo on top!

Walking down the Street, you will find the House of Gourmet, and this is where you will find Hotel Standard Meats such as Sausages, ham, Pork Knuckle at bargain prices. You can find out more about them at their website here

And Nicole loved the Pastry Warehouse best. You can sample the brownies that they make there, can you can pre order their spaghetti and lasagne for parties. The food quality is really quite good, and brining these dishes could make you a possible Master Chef at a friends dinner party!
The good thing about these Woodlands Wholesalers is that they are all along the same street. This means that it is like a Mini Orchard Road, as you walk down warehouse after warehouse, looking for great bargains.
Customers do be warned that they don’t accept Credit Cards or Nets, so do detour to the nearest ATM, and come back with your grocery money in Cash!
This place is truly a food haven, and we will definitely be back soon!
