What do I love about Korea?
Someone asked me, if I had a chance to go to Korea…What would I do, hear and see?…I think the more pertinent question is, “Where do I start?”
Korea is not just the land of Korean Drama, but it is a holiday destination that offers everything! First off, I just love the night markets, the shopping and most definitely…the Food! Yes, Singaporeans must have FOOD!
With Kimchi, Kalbi and Ginseng Chicken, I have vegetables, beef and chicken, that can satisfy any kind of pallet. Oooo…I feel hungry already
With so many UNESCO Heritage sights, Palaces and National Parks, Korea has got a great balance between nature and history. National Parks make hiking one of the favourite past times of every Korean, and every curious Tourist must discover why! With beautiful sights and places for one to explore, it is no wonder that many Singaporeans make a yearly pilgrimage back to Korea!
Besides the palaces and the history, I have also got to to experience Nanta Theatre! Dancing flying knifes that move with the sound of a hip-hop beat sounds way too cool! I would just love to sit through this high octane performance and watch Korean theatre at its best!
Last for not least, this is the land of Gangnam Style! I Would just love to do the Gangnam style over there and just let myself loose in this beautiful country!
