I have been using Halogen lamps in my house and the downside is that  they are really hot! Not only do they burn more electricity, but they are also drain on resources in humid Singapore. Philips LED lamps might just be the solution for your lighting appliances.

As LED lights are more energy and power efficient, they are truly the way to go! In fact, if you have not noticed, even Torch Lights have started using LED bulbs as they are just more energy efficient. Have you noticed, even HDB lifts are using LED lamps, so I think it is time to look to seriously consider LED lights for your homes.
