Why?

Cause the new packet of F&N NUTRITEA Lemongrass with Ginger is packed with an almost never-ending list of well-known benefits associated with traditional herbal tea, and yet it tastes authentic and great. You wouldn’t believe that the tea is freshly brewed from natural ingredients too, would you?

Some of us who are less accustomed to the benefits of these nutritional teas will then ask, why use lemongrass and ginger???

If you didn’t know, lemongrass is not just a popular ingredient used in South East Asian cuisine; it’s also commonly used in herbal teas to help relieve colitis, indigestion and gastro-enteritis ailments! Infusions of lemongrass have also used to alleviate sore throats, laryngitis and bronchitis.

On top of that, lemongrass oil is also commonly found in massage parlors as it helps revitalize the body, and relieve symptoms of headaches, body-aches, nervous exhaustion and stress-related conditions. Do you now realize how commonly and widely used lemongrass in our lives now? 😀

Lemongrass has also been known to contain these…

· Folic acid that is important in cell division and DNA synthesis.

Now… what about the health benefits of ginger???

Ginger has been used medically for more than 2000 years in Asian, Indian and Arab countries. With its gastrointestinal soothing effects, ginger helps to aid digestion, cold, flu-like symptoms, headaches and painful menstrual periods. Even up till now, clinical research continues to favor ginger in these areas!

It is no wonder that we’re always treated to a cup of hot ginger tea whenever we come out of a relaxing spa or massage! Try recalling…

After sharing so much, we’ve come to the most important part of the post… the TASTE TEST!!!

I poured each of the girls a cup and they loved it from the first… sip! I had a glass to myself too, and I can understand why the girls loved it! The new drink isn’t too sweet and it tastes absolutely natural! The scent of both the lemongrass and ginger isn’t too strong, and it’s easy to down it whether or not you are a fan of either lemongrass or ginger!

The drink doesn’t contain any bit of preservatives; it is reduced sugar with a certified “Healthier Choice” by our Health Promotion Board!

In our family, the tea quickly became a refreshing thirst quencher! Instead of sipping the tea, we gulped down the cool drink! The sweetness from the lemongrass and the very subtle tingly ginger taste actually made us crave for more! I’m reminded of a relaxing spa experience whenever I drink F&N NUTRITEA Lemongrass with Ginger! It’s simply so refreshing!! My family and I love to drink it chilled, straight from the fridge!
