Over the last 10 years, this award-winning troupe has built up a worldwide following and established an unrivalled reputation for their sophisticated portrayals of classic works, and for executing the most complex and daring manoeuvres on the ice. Their previous world tours (Sleeping Beauty on Ice, Swan Lake on Ice, Cinderella on Ice and Nutcracker on Ice) have been greeted with nightly standing ovations and five-star reviews.

Set to the magnificent music of Tchaikovsky, The Sleeping Beauty on Ice tells the classic fairytale love story through sublime world class skating, breathtaking high speed lifts and throws, awe-inspiring aerial gymnastics and fire effects – all in the intimacy of the theatre stage.

The kids have never seen a classical rendition of Sleeping Beauty before, and initially they had to get used to the fact that there was no dialogue. My son, asked me why they won’t talking, and I had to explain to him the difference between normal theatre and a classical interpretation. Getting over the initial impressions, we sat back and enjoyed the well executed Ice Skating manoeuvres that were played out before our eyes.

A highlight of the show is the grand finale, as the ice Skaters let loose and brought out all their tricks. Get ready to be awed by all their fancy moves, as they bring the curtains down on a spectacular ice performance.
