Singapore Navy @ Vivo (Giveaway)
The Royal Singapore Navy is celebrating their 50th Anniversary with a special treat for Singaporeans. To celebrate it’s Golden Jubilee, visitors will be able to visit the RSS Intrepid and take a thrilling ride on board the Fast Craft Utility (FCU) off the waters at Sentosa. All of this at the Singapore Navy @ Vivo from 9-12 November 2017.
Growing up, my kids loved going to the military exhibitions as they always get to see something which they don’t normally see. It is also good preparation for my boy, as one day he will be serving his nation and it will be great to get him used to the military. At this year’s 50th anniversary, families will once again not be disappointed. The Singapore Navy @ Vivo will give the public a tour of their frigates, and for those lucky few, they can also catch a ride on a FCU! (Pictured below). Yes! This is no ordinary grab and a cool ride that money can’t buy! 🙂
For those who can get on board the RSS Intrepid, one can not just witness the Ceremonial Sunset but there will be attack simulations, performances and even take on the role of a naval personnel. Imagine your kids being a sea marshal or part of a surgical team on a warship. And best of all, there will also be a photo booth and get your kids dressed up in the Smart Navy Ceremonial Dress! I managed to get all 3 of the kids dressed up a few years ago and this photo is a great memory for any family album! 🙂
