Back to the Future

In collaboration with Ogilvy and the Council for 3rd age, I joined a blogging competition about "A Day in the Future". Imagine what things will be like when the year is 2050? Besides being very old, how would you be coping with life?

To really help me immerse is this time-travel scenario, the Council for 3rd Age, loaned me an age-transformation suit, that brought me "Back to the Future"!

What’s tough about the suit, is that the overalls really makes one "hot" and that the suit included other "Secret" materials to slow down one’s movements.

Here is a look at the "Secret Ingredients!"

We had to wear plastic glasses, that were scratched severely to decrease one’s vision…

Weights and Sticks were also added to restrict one’s movements…

With gloves to decrease my sensitivity and ear plugs to worsen my hearing…I was ready to GO!

Frankly, I looked so weird, that the whole family including my DH stopped to watch what Daddy was up to…:)

Want to check out my adventures in the special "AGE" suit?

Please follow me to the Special Facebook Page, and Comment about my 2050AD adventure…:)

Your entry made me laugh, haha. You do look quite decked out, it’s quite endearing. Was the suit effective for you in simulating how an older person may feel?

Haha! Glad u liked the entry…My helper was like – “Sir is so funny…” I think that a for guys, the weights could be a bit heavier, otherwise the suit was restrictive enough for me to feel old! ;)
